Music is a vital creative outlet for me. I have been composing music since I was 11. I started out writing for piano and expanded my repertoire to include a diverse array of instruments and ensambles. My hometown church invites me to play an original piano composition whenever I’m in town. Also, I play many of my own pieces at the nursing home where I volunteer as a pianist. As a physician, I anticipate channeling musical creativity into my approach in communicating with patients.
